Pastor Cindi L. Greene
What defines me?
To know me is to know I am rarely without people around ... I am passionate about Jesus. I am passionate about my family... I am passionate about Christ’s Bride the Church...I am a moma...I am a pastor...and that is me. There really is little pretense...I am who I am.
Though I hold a Masters of Divinity and two doctorates those do not define me. I love the Word of God and I love to be part of watching Christ’s Body awaken and BE the Body of Christ.
This side of heaven I come out of the South East United States. I grew up in a small town where my Daddy was a coach (football and swimming primarily). I was a National Park Ranger and a Federal Law Enforcement Officer in my 20s and served in the US Peace Corps as well. I came through the ranks as a pastor starting as a Student Local Pastor nearly 25 years ago and have been an Elder for over 15 years. I have served overseas through our General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM) in the Philippines as a Missionary in Church Growth and Evangelism.
I almost forgot... what does define me? CHRIST. CHRIST informs me with regards to who I am...and whose I am... and CHRIST in-forms me as well, as to who I am to be and grows me through His Word and through His Spirit.
There...that sums me up.
I am the eldest of three (I have a sister and a brother). I was born in Georgia, raised in Colorado and Kentucky, spent many years in the Mountains of North Carolina. I have served churches in the Philippines, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon and now Michigan. We have lived in Michigan since 1998.
I have seven children (two adopted from the Phillipines (Katie and Chris), three biological (Eva, Garrett and Jake) and two grandbabies (Sami and Tori) I am priviledge to help raise.
